I am a very happily married, 44 year old, male caucasian, five foot ten inch tall, photographer, who would rather be working outside than inside. However, I will take just about any work that comes my way. I am always looking for new material and new ideas. If you need pictures for a portfolio or any other reason please feel free to contact me.

I use only Nikon cameras and lenses and Apple computers and software. It just works. Easy to set up, easy to use, easy to maintain and update and out comes great images for the you, the customer. What more could you ask from your equipment and your photographer.

Thank you
Sincerely

Greg D.

Examples of exaggerated motion.  Slow shutter speed, panning with the subject as she runs by.
Personally I think these look very cool.

The picture of the day

This is what happens when you leave a photographer alone in a large studio with no specific subject to shoot.

You find odds and ends here and there and combine them into an odd mixture of the familiar and not so familiar.
Honestly, I had two models scheduled for photo shoots today and both of them pulled the infamous no show, no call, no e-mail, no text message to say they were not coming for whatever reason.

How rude and inconsiderate!!
Now I will add them to my ever growing SHIT list of people to never contact again.

Changed to black and white, modified in silver efex pro 2 and exported in JPEG format.

Pepsi_chains_2

A simple color image of an elongated Pepsi bottle.
Remember when everything was in a glass bottle?

I seem to remember food tasting better when everything was in glass instead of metal cans.

When shooting with a flash or strobe most photographers set the white balance to flash.
Change your white balance and change you perspective as well as your image.

This is straight out of the camera.

Shot in color and changed to black and white in Aperture.

A close crop to show the detail of the chains

Shot in color, slightly altered with Color Efex Pro 3.0 Complete.

I reminds me of the old Kodak film.  Not intended it just happened that way.
